HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 061-1981Ithat RESOLUTION 61- 81 RESOLUTION OF CITY OF BURLINGAME MAKING DETERMINATION OF PROPERTY TAX EXCHANGE PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 282, SECTION 59, PART 0.5, IMPLEMENTATION OF ARTICLE XIIIA OF THE CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION, COMMENCING WITH SECTION 95, DIVISION 1, OF THE REVENUE AND TAXATION CODE RESOLVED, by the City of Burlingame, State of California, WHEREAS, state law requires that the County of San Mateo and the City of Burlingame agree to a property tax exchange as a result of the proposed annexation of Lands of Heerman and Spanier to the City of Burlingame; and WHEREAS, the subject determination has been made prior to and as a condition precedent to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission issuing the Certificate of Filing on said proposal; and WHEREAS, the City of Burlingame in making this determination has reviewed the proposed property tax exchange and the amount of said exchange; and WHEREAS, it has been agreed that property tax revenues which total $166.26 based on 1980-81 assessed valuation for the affected properties will be transferred 'between the County Library and the City of Burlingame; and WHEREAS, it has been agreed that property tax revenues which total $309.93 based on 1980-81 assessed valuation for the affected properties will be transferred between the Structural Fire Fund and the City of Burlingame; and WHEREAS, it has been agreed that property tax revenues which total $59.64 based on 1980-81 assessed valuation for the affected properties will be transferred between the County of San Mateo and the City of Burlingame; NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Burlingame does hereby resolve, determine, and order as follows: The amount of property tax revenues to be transferred based on 1980-81 assessed valuation from the County of San Mateo to the City of Burlingame is $59.64. The amount of property tax revenues to be transferred based on 1980-81 assessed valuation from the Structural Fire Fund to the City of Burlingame is $309.93. The amount of property tax revenues to be transferred based on 1980-81 assessed valuation from the County Library to the City of Burlingame is $166.26. The exchange of said revenues is approved conditioned upon the completion of the proposed annexation of Lands of Heerman and Spanier to the City of Burlingame and is effective immediately upon completion of the annexation.
