RESOLUTION NO. 19 - 81
AWARDING CONTRACT
GASOLINE TANK AT CORPORATION STORAGE
YARD ON NORTH CAROLAN AVENUE
JOB NO. 106
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation for bids for
GASOLINE TANK AT CORPORATION STORAGE YARD ON NORTH CAROLAN AVENUE (Job No.
106); and
WHEREAS, on March 10, 1981, all bids received were opened before the
City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, DIABLO PETROLEUM, INC., submitted the lowest bid for said
job in the amount of $32,874.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the bid
of DIABLO PETROLEUM, INC., for said Burlingame Job No. 106 in the amount of
$32,874.00 be, and the same hereby is, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into between the
successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for the
performance of said work, and that the City Manager be, and he hereby is,
authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said con-
tract and to approve the faithful performance bond and the labor and materials
bond required to be furnished by the contractor.

certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the 16th day of March, 1981, and was adopted there-
after by the following vote:
