RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
APPROVING EXTENSION TO AGREEMENT WITH CAPORICCI & LARSON TO
PROVIDE INDEPENDENT AUDIT SERVICES TO THE CITY FOR TWO ADDITIONAL
AUDIT YEARS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE
EXTENSION AGREEMENT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, in 2004, the City sought proposals from qualified firms to provide an
independent audit in accordance with law; and
WHEREAS, after consideration of the proposals duly received, interviews held, and
references checked, Caporicci & Larson was retained to provide the required services; and
WHEREAS, Caporicci & Larson have provided a high level of efficient service and
examination and greatly assisted the City in complying with Government Accounting Standard
Board (GASB) requirements,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED:
1. An extension of the 2004 Agreement between Caporicci & Larson for audit years 2007
and 2008 is hereby approved on the same terms and conditions as the 2004 Agreement with the
exception of paragraph 4 (Term).
2. The City Manager is authorized and directed to execute the Extension for and on behalf
of the City of Burlingame.
3. The City Clerk is directed to witness the Manager's signature on behalf of the City.

foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 19tiday of
