HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 049-2007EXHIBIT 1 RESOLUTION NO. 49-2007 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME, GRANTING APPROVAL TO ENTER INTO A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE EIP/PBS&J TO PERFORM ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW SERVICES RELATED TO THE DOWNTOWN BURLINGAME SPECIFIC PLAN RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame: WHEREAS, the City Council previously authorized the preparation of a Specific Plan for Downtown Burlingame; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), an environmental review of the Specific Plan must occur prior to consideration of the Plan by the Planning Commission and City Council; and WHEREAS, EIP/PBS&J has submitted a proposal to conduct the required environmental review related to the Downtown Burlingame Specific Plan; and WHEREAS, the Scope of Services prepared by PBS&J has been found adequate to provide the level of environmental review required for the Specific Plan project, and the costs associated with the services to be provided by EIP/PBS&J are within the adopted budget for all activities related to the preparation of the Downtown Burlingame Specific Plan, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED: The City Manager is authorized and directed to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with EIP/PBS&J for environmental review services related to the preparation of the Downtown Burlingame Specific Plan, consistent with the Scope of Work attached to this resolution, and for a maximum cost of $77,905.00, as stated in the Scope of Work. 2. The City Clerk is directed to attest to the signature of the City Manager upon execution of the Professional Services Agreement.
