RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME, GRANTING
APPROVAL TO ENTER INTO A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH PBS&J
TO PERFORM ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW SERVICES RELATED TO THE BURLINGAME
POINT DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, an application has been submitted by Millennium Partners. for a proposal to
develop an office/life science campus at 300 Airport Boulevard (Burlingame Point Development
Project); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), an
environmental review of the project must occur prior to consideration of the Burlingame Point
Development Project by the Planning Commission and City Council; and
WHEREAS, PBS&J has submitted a proposal to conduct the required environmental
review related to the Burlingame Point Development Project; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared based on the Scope of Services prepared
by PBS&J in the amount of $306,500, which was found to be adequate to provide the level of
environmental review required for the Burlingame Point Development project, and the costs
associated with the services to be provided by PBS&J are to be reimbursed by the applicant;
and
WHEREAS, the consultant has included optional tasks in the Scope of Services, which
may be required in order to complete the environmental review of the project. The additional
work, which would require authorization by the Community Development Director, would not
exceed $111,445.00. The total cost of the original proposal plus all optional tasks would not
exceed a total of $417,945, and the costs associated with the optional tasks would also be
reimbursed by the applicant; and
WHEREAS, since the agreement will authorize work in excess of $100,000, City Council
approval is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED:
The City Manager is authorized and directed to enter into a Professional Services
Agreement with PBS&J for environmental review services related to the Burlingame
Point Development project, consistent with the Scope of Work attached to this resolution,
for a maximum cost of $306,500.00, with optional tasks which may be approved by the
Community Development Director not to exceed an additional $111,445.00, for a
maximum cost of $417,945.00, as stated in the Scope of Work.

Burlingame Point Professional Services Agreement with PBS&J
The City Clerk is directed to attest to the signature of the City Manager upon execution of
the Professional Services Agreement.
