AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CITY OF BURLINGAME JANITORIAL SERVICES
TO
FLAGSHIP FACILITY SERVICES INC.
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation for proposals for the -CITY OF
BURLINGAME JANITORIAL SERVICES.
WHEREAS, on SEPTEMBER 1, 2011, all proposals were received and opened before the
representatives of the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS PACIFIC MAINTENANCE COMPANYAND UNIVERSAL BUILDING
SERVICES submitted an incomplete proposals that was rejected; and
WHEREAS, FLAGSHIP FACILITY SERVICES INC, has been recommended by the Janitorial
Committee and has submitted a responsible bid for the job in the amount of $490,572.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED, that the Specifications are
approved and adopted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the proposal of PACIFIC MAINTENANCE COMPANY AND
UNIVERSAL BUILDING SERVICES is rejected as incomplete;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of FLAGSHIP FACILITIES SERVICES, for said
project in the amount of $490,572.00, is hereby accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into between the successful bidder,
FLAGSHIP FACILITIES SERVICES and the City of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and
that the City Manager be, and he hereby is authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to
execute said contract.

foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 3rd day
of Oct. , 2011, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
