RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO REVISE THE ANIMAL CONTROL
SERVICE FEES SO SAID FEES CONFORM TO THE ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICE
FEE SCHEDULE ADOPTED BY THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, the City has entered into an agreement with the County of San Mateo and
other cities in the County to have the County provide animal control services through the
Peninsula Humane Society;
WHEREAS, the County has recently adopted revised fees and charges for the provision
of animal control services and, pursuant to the agreement between the City and the County, the
City is required to conform its fee schedule to that adopted by the County; and
WHEREAS, by concurrent amendment of the City's animal control ordinance, the
animal control fee schedule can be set or revised by resolution of the city council amending the
city's Master fee Schedule;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED:
The City Council hereby amends the City's Master fee Schedule to set the new and
revised animal control service fees as contained in the schedule attached hereto as exhibit "A".
I, Mary Ellen Kearney, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 4th day of
September, 2012, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:

Alai 2 20n005). The City of Burlingame's agreement with San Mateo County requires that
city animal control fees reflect the fees adopted by the San Mateo County Board of
Supervisors or that the difference in fees be paid by the city if the city fees are less.
The following fees are enacted by San Mateo County Ordinance No. 04628, approved
July 24, 2012. Fees are effective October 1, 2012.

ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REPLACING SECTION OF 6.04.290 OF CHAPTER
6.04 OF TITLE 6, OF THE SAN MATEO COUNTY ORDINANCE CODE, WHICH
ESTABLISHES ANIMAL CONTROL AND LICENSING PROGRAM FEES
The Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, ordains as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section 6.04.290 of Chapter 6.04 of Title 6, of the San Mateo County
Ordinance Code is hereby repealed and replaced with a new section 6.04.290 to be
entitled and to read as follows:
