RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE VILLAGE PARK RESTROOM
REPLACEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City operates and maintains the restrooms at Village Park; and
WHEREAS, the Village Park Restrooms are in need of redesign and
replacement; and
WHEREAS, the City is ready to develop the Construction Documents and
requires Project Management for the Village Park Restroom Replacement Project; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to engage an Architectural Consultant to provide project
management services, schematics and construction administration of the Village Park Restroom.
Replacement Project and seeks a consultant that has demonstrated superior experience and
qualifications to perform the desired work;
WHEREAS, the City requires the specialized professional services of Consultant
and this item is therefore exempt from any competitive bidding requirements;
WHEREAS, the Consultant represents and affirms that it is qualified and willing to
perform the desired work pursuant to the agreement.
WHEREAS, Dreiling Terrones has begun initial work on the Project under a limited -
scope contract, which the City now wishes expand: Consultant has provided the site plan
and now will provide construction documents to bid the project and construction
administration under this the new agreement for services for a Village Restroom
Replacement Project; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BURLINGAME DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council finds that all of the facts recited above and stated in the staff
report are true and correct.
2. The City Council hereby approves and authorizes the Mayor to execute the
Agreement for Professional Services for the Village Park Restroom
Replacement Project. 0, v"

foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the Burlingame City Council
held on the 3rd day of September, 2013, and was adopted thereafter by the following
vote:
AYES: Councilmembers: BAYLOCK, BROWNRIGG, DEAL, KEIGHRAN, NAGEL
NOES: Councilmembers: NONE
