A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BURLINGAME APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF CAROL T.
AUGUSTINE AS THE FINANCE DIRECTORITREASURER FOR THE
CITY OF BURLINGAME
WHEREAS, Chapter 3.13.010, of the Burlingame Municipal Code requires that the
Finance Director/Treasurer shall be appointed by the City Manager with the approval of the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the City has conducted an extensive recruitment process and Carol T.
Augustine has been selected by the City Manager to serve as the permanent Finance
Director/Treasurer; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council finds that all of the facts stated in the recitals, within the staff report
and in the statements at the Council meeting are true and correct.
2. The City Council hereby approved and authorizes the City Manager to appoint Carol
T. Augustine to the position of Finance Director/Treasurer effective on March 18,
2013.
I, Mary Ellen Kearney, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame hereby certify that the
foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Burlingame City Council held on March 18, 2013, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers:BAYLOCK, BROWNRIGG,DEAL, KEIGHRAN,NAGEL
NOES: Councilmembers: NONE
