A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO REJ ELECTRIC INC., FOR THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE
(EV) CHARGING STATION PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT
CITY PROJECT NO. 84070
WHEREAS, on June 27, 2014, the City issued a request for proposals for the
ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) CHARGING STATION PROJECT, CITY PROJECT NO. 84070; and
WHEREAS, on April 24, 2014, all proposals were received and reviewed by the Public
Works Department; and
WHEREAS, REJ ELECTRIC. INC., submitted the most responsive and lowest cost
proposal for the project in the amount of $49,363.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED, that the Request
for Proposal and Scope of Work, including all addenda, are approved and adopted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of REJ ELECTRIC, INC., for said project in
the amount of $49,363, and the same hereby is accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THERETO that a contract be entered into between the
successful lowest bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for the
performance of said work, and that the City Manager be, and hereby is, authorized for and on
behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to approve the faithful performance
bond and the labor materials bond required to be furnished
by the contractor.

the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 2"d
day of SEPTEMBER, 2014, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
