A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME CALIFORNIA
AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO D & D PIPELINES INC. FOR THE
BURLINGAME AVENUE, BROADWAY ADELINE DRIVE AND PENINSULA AVENUE WATER
MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
CITY PROJECTS NO. 83500 & 83640
WHEREAS, on May 16, the City issued notice inviting sealed bid proposals for the
BURLINGAME AVENUE, BROADWAY, ADELINE DRIVE, AND PENINSULA AVENUE WATER
MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, - CITY PROJECTS NO. 83500 & 83640, and
WHEREAS, on June 6, 2014, all bid proposals were received and opened before the City
Clerk and representatives of the Public Works Department; and a total of nine bid proposals were
received, with bids ranging from $978,592 to $1,397,531 and;
WHEREAS, D & D PIPELINES, INC., is the lowest responsible bidder with its bid amount of
$978,592.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is hereby ORDERED, that the Plans and
Specifications, including all addenda, are approved and adopted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into between the successful bidder
hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the
City Manager be, and hereby is, authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute
said contract and to approve the faithful performance bond and the labor materials bond required to
be furnished by the contractor. /

foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 77th day of
July, 2014, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
