A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT OF THE CITY ATTORNEY'S EMPLOYMENT
AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE A SALARY INCREASE
WHEREAS, City Attorney Kathleen Kane began her service with the City on April 1,
2013; and
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a positive performance evaluation for Ms. Kane
upon completion of third year with the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council determined, following the evaluation, that a salary increase
from $15,882.90 a month to $16,756.46 a month was warranted in recognition of Ms. Kane's
successful performance, retroactive to the beginning of the pay period following her third
anniversary with the City; and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of Ms. Kane's employment are to remain as
provided in her original employment agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Burlingame does
hereby authorize the Mayor to execute the attached Second Amendment to Ms. Kane's City
Attorney Employment Agreement, to increase Ms. Kane's monthly gross salary to $16,756.46
and leave all other terms and conditions of employment as provided in the City Attorney
Employment Agreement. �}

the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 6th
day of June, 2016, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
