The Board of Trustees of the Town of Burlingame do
ordain as follows;
Section 1. That pursuant to the provisions of an act
entitled "An act to provide for the establishment and maintenance
of public libraries within municipalities"; approved march 23&21901
(Statutes 1901, page 557)0 and the acts amendatory thereof, a
public library be, and the same hereby is, establish& in and for
the said Town of Burlingame (a municipal corporation).
Sec.2. Said public library shall be managed by a board
designated as the Board of Library Trustees,consisting of five
members, to be hereafter appointed in the manner provided by the
aforesaid act of the Legislature of the State of California.
Sec.3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage.
Seo. 4. This ordinance shall be printed and posted in
three public places in the 'Town of Burlingame.
