The Board of Trustees of the Town of Burlingame do ordain
as follows;
s/— l 1. All wild, malignant, pernicious, obno.1ous or siurious
grasses, plants, foSla,7e or herbs, commonly known and desil;nated
as weeds on the sidewalks of the Town of Burlingame and all
overhangin.c branches of trees obstbxucting or interfering with
tho free and uninterrupted passage or repassage of pedestrians
along the sidewalks of the Town of Burlingame shall be and are
hereby deemed and ordained to be public nuisances;
2. All sidewalks, paths, ways or places corxaonly Used and
accepted as footpaths or sidewalks for pedestrians/ that parallel
or extend along the curb line of either side of any street, lane,
alley, court or public highway within the Town of BurlinggLne
shall be designated for the purpose of enforcement of this
ordinance as a sidewalk or sidewalksi
3. An occupant, claimant, agent or person having in �-har,
possession or control of real estats in the Town of Burlinvame
^hall be considered an owner of such property for the 1�urlosa
of enforcing such ordinance against such person or persons; and
the duties L=posod upon such owner are hereby imposed on such
occoupant, claimant, agent or person having in charZa,possession
or control of real estate in the Town of Durlingame;

of this ordinance. Every owner shall be responsible for each
portion or portions of sidealk or sidewalks facing or abutting
on his or her real estate in the Town of Burlingame;
g. That should such owner refuse or neglect to cut down,
destroy or remove such nuisances within tan days iron. and after
such official request or notice, then such cutting down,
destruction *a removal shall be summarily performed by the Town
of Burlingame, and the expense thereof shall be a lien on such
property, and may be collected by a foreclosure of lien and sale
of the property;

ing a public nuisance. The omriission to perform any act hereby
directed to be performed, or the commission of any act hamby
prohibited, is declared to be a public nuisance. Any person
