An Ordinance regulating the appearance of Minor$ on the public streets
and places of the To-tirn of Burlingame®
The Board of Trustees of the Town of Burlingame do ordain as follows
SECTION I: That it is hereby made unlawful for any child under the age
of sixteen ( 16 ) and unaccompanied by its parent or adult guardian
having legal custody and control of said child, to loiter, wander or
stroll about the streets, avenues or any public place of the Town of
Burlingame between the hour of 9.30 oolock P. M. and the time of sunrise
of the following day *
SECTION to That it shall be unlaisful for any parent, guardian or other
person having legal care and custody of any child under the age of sixteen
( 16 ) years to allow or permit any such child or ward to go upon or be
upon any public street, avenue or other public pla--e in the Town of
Burlingame unaccompanied by such parent, guardian or other person
having legak care abd custody of such child between the hours of 8*30
P,14* and the time of sunrise on the succeeding day*
SECTION 3 a Any person violating any provision of this Ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof
shall be punished by a fine not exceeding Twenty 'ivy i 25.00 , Dollars
or by imprisonment not exceeding twenty five (ZWX 25) days or by
both such fine and imprisonment.
SECTION 4., This Ordinance shall be printed in the Burlingame Advance
two successive times and posted in three public places in the Town of
Burlingame and shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
