AN ORDINANCE MAKING IT UNLAWFUL TO MAR OR DEFACE PUBLIC
BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES, OR OTHER PUBLIC PLACES WITHIN THE CITY
OF BURLINGAME, AIM PRESCRIBING A RETARD FOR. THE ARREST AND CON—
VICTION OF THE OFFENDER THEREFOR.
The Board of Trustees of the. City of Burlingame do ordain
as follows, t o—wits
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to mar or
deface any public building or structure belonging to the City of
Burlingame and within the City of Burlingame; or to take, destroy,
dig up or carry away, without first having obtained permission
from the Park Commission of the City of Burlingame or without the
authority of the Board of Trustees of the City of Burlingame, any
plants, trees, shrubs or flowers in any public park, court, street
or square within the City of Burlingame;
Section 2. Any person furnishing the Board of Trustees of
the City of Burlingame any information that will lead to the
arrest and conviction of any person violating Section 1 of this
Ordinance shall be rewarded for so doing in the Sum of One Hundred
Dollars;
Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions -of
this Ordinance shall upon conviction thereof be fined in a sum not
less than One Hundred Dollars or be imprisoned in the City Hail
for not le=ss than thirty days, or by both said fine and imprisonment.
Section 4. This Ordinance shell be published for two su(tces—
sive publications ir. the Burlingame Advance and be in force and
effect from and after the date of its passage*
