AY ORDINANCE REGULATINC ERPCTIGN OF P,ESIDUCES AND FENCES IN
THE CITY OF BURLIITCAEF.
THE BOARD OF TRTTSTEE.S OF THE CITY -OF BURLTNGAYE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS: -
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any parson, firm or cor-
poration to arect or cause to be erected within the corporate limits
of the City of Burlingame on any lot or parcel of land having a
depth of one hundred and ten (11_�� feet or -more any residence at a
less distance thar4iff2---l-i— (IS) ';et from the 'front prop-rty
line of said lot or parcel
Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corpo-
ration to erect or cause.to be erected within the City of i3urlingame
a fence commonly known as a spite fence, having a height in excess
of ten (10) feet or having signs or devices,plaeed on such fence at-
tracting public attention and discomfort to the.adjoinir_.� residents;
such act shall be deemed a nuisance.
Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this
Ordinance shall upon conviction thereof be deemed guilty of a mis-
demeanor and fined in a sum not to exceed `100. or imprisoned in the
City Jail not to exceed one month or by both said fine and imprison -
Ment.
6-3ction 4. This Ordinance shall be publi,�hed in the Eurlingasre
Advance for two (2) successive publications and be it force and ef-
fact from and aftar the date of its passage.
