The board of Trustees of the City of Burlingame
do ordain as follows:
Sectionl. Section 2 of. Ordinance No 109 of the City of
Burlingame, entitled "An Ordinance creating a resident
district within the City of Burlingame", " is hereby amended
to read as follows:
Section 2. That within the territory ordained in
Section 1 as a residence district, it is hereby prohibited to
erect, build, move or place within said residence district
any building or structure other tha* that of a dwelling or
home, flat or apartment house or such other structure as
aseentialy pertains to the construction of a reeadential
section, together with such appurtenances as sheds, barns,
stables or garages that -are a part of such residential
structure; and it is further prohibited within said residence
district to remodel any building or structure now within
said residence district into any building or structure other
than that as specified in this section.
Section 2. Ordinance No 109 of the City of Burlingame,
entitled, "An Ordinance creating a resident district within
the City of Murlinga.e" is hereby amended by adding the
following section:
Section 2 A. That within the territory ordained in
Section 1 as a residence district, it is hereby prohibited
to carry on or maintain in any building or structure already
erected within said district or which may hereafter be 144 .
erected, moved or placed in said district, any business, 4-&W7 X4o✓
tracts yr wiling, except those of the known and accepted
professions, and except as otherwise provided in this
ordinance.
Section 3. Ordinance iso 109 of the City of 'Burlingame
entitled, "An Ordinance creating a resident district within
the City of Burlingame" is hereby amended by adding the
following section:
Section 3 A. If any part of this ordinance shall be
ueclared unconstitutional, it shall not affect the remaining
portions.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be published as required by
law and be in force and effect from and after the day of its
passage;
