AN ORDINANCE REGULATING GARBAGE DISPOSAL IN THE CITY OF
BURLINGAMEE.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Burlingame do ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or
corporation to keep and maintain on any premises in the City of
Burlingame, any Garbage as defined within the meaning of this
Ordinance without providing suitable receptacle for maintaining
same until such Garbage is di osed f, eitAerr yX1 4 , Iffy

period of two (2) weeks frolr. the time of the collection of such
Garbage.
SECTION 2. Garbage as defined within the meaning of this
Ordinance is any table or kitchen refuse, ashes, debris or other
materials of a putrid nature or that may become putrid by reason
of being permitted to remain on the premises.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation who violates any
of the provisions of this Ordinance, shall upon conviction there—
of, be fined in a sum not to exceed Five Hundred (0500) Dollars
or by imprisonment in the City Jail not to exceed six (6) months
or by both said fine and imprisonment.
SECTIOL,T 4. This Ordinance shall be published in the
Burlingame Advance and be in force and effect from and after
the date of its passage her in.
Introduced the Al day of April, 1922, and duly and
regularly passed the f--/ZT- day of May, 1922, by the follow—
