An urdinance creating the office of rolice Surgeon
of the City of -burlingame and defining his duties.
The Uity Couneil of the Uity of Burlingame do ordain
as follows.
Section 1. The city Uouncil of the City of
nurlingame does hereby create the office of rolice Surgeon
of the Uity of nurlingame, which office shall serve at the
pleasure of'the Uity Uouncil.
Section 2. rhe duties of said office shall be to render
trori time to time when called upon by the Chief of Police
of the uity of'burlingame such assistance and aid a s a
physician or surgeon as may be necessary in all police
emergency matters and in cases where the Verson afflicted
or injured is in the custody of the police of the Uity of
Burlingame and is unable to pay for said service,
Section 3. The police surgeon shall receive such
compensation as may be allowed by the uity Uouncil in
each particular case.
