CITY OF BURL 11"I GAS .
The City Council of the City of Burlingame do ordain
as follows:
Section 1. `dhenever any _person, firm or cors oration
shall desire to change or cjlter the lines or boundaries of
any lot, lots, pieces or parcels of land in the City of
Burlingame from the descrii,tion or lines as aiupear on the
platted subdivision or subdivision on record in the office of
the County Recorder of ran 1ateo County or frog description
or lines now existing and established in said City and part
of the records of said City of Burlinga�.e and the County of
San I+lateo, the person, firm or corporation so desiring said
change shall make application to the City Council of the City
of Burlingame. stating the reasons for said change or alter-
ation, and clearly setting.; forth by a diagram attached there-
to the original lines or boundaries of said lot, lots, pieces
or parcels of land and the pro1.osed changed lines or bound -
cries of same.
Section 2. Notice of hearing of said proposed change
or alteration shall be given by the City Council by causing
to be posted on the premises made the subject of the proposed
change or alteration a notice of the hearing of said
a,pplication. Said notice shall be for a period of ten days.
A notice similiar in substance shall be personally served on
the owners of the land in thy: fmmediate front, back and sides
of said premises, which notices shall be not les than five
days before the hearing of said application by said City
Council.
Section 3. The City Council of the City of Burlingame
may, after a. hearing on said pollication grant or deny said

as a condition of its approval that diagram copies of the
approved change or alteration be filed with the County
Assessor, County Recorder, County Tax Collector and City
Clerk of the City of 3urlingame with requests that the
change or alteration be made on their official books
Section 4. rio p erynit shall be granted for the
construction of any building on any lot, lots, -pieces or
parcels of land as aforementioned unless the provisions of
this ordinances are strictly co,.lplie4 with.

ection 5. Any person, firm or corporation violating
any of the provisions of this ordinance shall upon
conviction thereof, be fined in a sum not to exceed fifty
dollars or by imprisonment in the City Jail not to exceed
ten days or by both said fine and imprisonment.
Section 6. This ordinance shall be l)ublished in the
Burlingame "advance Star in the manner and for the time
prescribed by law and be in force and effect from and after
the date of passage.
