The City Council of the City of Burlingame do ordain as
Section 1. Ordinance Number 256 of the City of Burlingame
entitled, "An Ordinance .regulating annual license fees of contractors
within the City of Burlingame", is hereby amended by adding a new
section to be known as Section 1A, and which reads as fcllows, to -wit:
Section 1A. For the purpose of this ordinance, a
contractor is any person, firm or corporation viho carries on any
building or construction work, or remodels, alters, repairs or
makes additions to any building or structure whether the work is
done by contract agreement or for a stipulated price, or for .hire for
the job.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published in the
"Burlingame Advance -Star" for the time and in the manner required by
law and shall be in force and effect from and after the date of its
passage.
INTRODUCED this 6th day of November, 1933 and duly and
regularly passed this 20th day of November, 1933 by the following
vote:
