AN ORDIN.AjaCE REGULATIP G OBSTRUCTION
OF VIEW AT STRyET, LAN C , AWUM, , ROAD
OR HIGHWAY INTERSsCTIONS IN THE CITY
OF BURLINGAM.
The City Council of the City of Burlingame do ordain as
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm
or corporation to construct or maintain at the corner of any lot,
piece or parcel of land at any street, lane, avenue, road vt&_
highway intersection in the City of Burlingame, or on any sidewalk
parking space in front or on the side of same, any fence, wall,
hedge, tree or plant that obstructs the clear view of the operator
of any approaching vehicle to the extent of twenty (20) feet on
each side of said intersection front and side property lines
abutting on said intersecting street, lane, avenue, road or high-
way of said city, and to the extent of twenty(20) feet on each
respective sidewalk parking of any street, lane, avenue, road or
highway, so intersecting, measured from each end of the curb
return or are at such intersection; out in no case -,all any fence,
wall, hedge, tree or plant either on said property or sidewalk
parking at said intersection be greater in heilght t!a.n four and
one-half (42) feet from the sidewalk level, excepting however, trees
,lalready planted on premises and in sidewalk parking, which shall be
"governed by the tree regulation of the City of Burlingame.
Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating
any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be
guilty of a misdemeanor and be fined in a sum not to exceed One
Hundred and 00/100 Dollars (:100.00) or by imprisonment in the
City Jail not to exceed Sixty (60) days, or by both said fine and
iraprisontnent.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published in the
"Burlingame Advance -Star" in the manner and for the time required
pby lalm, and shall be in force and effect from and after the date
°of its passage.

INTRODUCED this 2nd day of October, 1933, and duly
and regularly passed this 16t79 day of October, 1933, by the
following vote:
