The City Council of the City of 73urliname do ordain
as follows:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful to deposit, erect or
maintain Many natural or artificial watero nurse or creek or
drain carrying off the storm waters or sanitary sewerage within
the City of Burlingame, anything which may obstruct the free flow
of water therein.
Section 2. A water way is herein defined as any natural
or artificial course or creek or drain or ditch, opened or covered,
which pertains to the drainage of the City of Burlingame, either
of storm waters or municipal sewerage.
Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction thereof shall be punished by fine not exceeding Three
Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($300.00) or by imprisonment not to
exceed three (3) months in the City Jail or by moth such fine and
imprisonment; each and every day of violation shall be construed
as a separate offense.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be purlished in the
"Burlingame Advance Star" for the time and in the manner prescribed
by law, and be in force and effect from and after the day of its
passage.
