AN ORDINANCE AMEN-llING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 211 OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME, ENTITLED,
"AN ORDINANCE SPECIFYING YARD AREAS IN APART-
MENT HOUSE DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME. V4

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME DO ORDAIN AS
Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 211 of the City of
Burlingame entitled, "An Ordinance specifying yard areas in
apartment house district of the City of Burlingame", is hereby
amended to read as follows:
SECTION 2: The area of the side yards of all land
in the Apartment House District of the City of Burlingame shall
extend from the side lines of each property or area to the extent
of not less than three (3) feet and to the building or structure
erected, except when adjoining land is in the Commercial District,
and from a distance of fifteen (15) feet from the front land line
to the length of the building or structure, except as hereinafter
mentioned and except or, corner land when the area shall be not less
than five (5) feet between the side line on the corner and the
building or structure, retaining the fifteen (15) feet set back
line in the front yard, and the three (3) feet area on the far
side of said building or structure, except when adjoining land is
in the Commercial District.
When the land is less than One Hundred (100) feet,
the same areas shall apply as specified in this section, except that
instead of a fifteen foot front yard area an area of not less than
ten (10) feet will apply.
Section 2. /This ordinance shall be published
in the "Burlingame Advance -Star" in the manner and for the period
prescribed by law, and be in force and effect from and after the
date of its passage.
