AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE CARE AND EXPEN-
DITURE OF MONEYS RECEIVED FROM THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 5,
CHAPTER 1, DIVISION I OF THE STREETS AND
HIGHWAYS CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. To comply with the provisions of Article 5
of Chapter 1 of Division I of the Streets and Highways Code with
particular reference to the amendments made thereto by Chapter 642,
Statutes of 1935, there is hereby created in the city treasury a
special fund to be known as the "Special Gas Tax Street Improvement
Fund."
Section 2. All moneys received by the City from the
State of California under the provisions of the Streets and
Highways Code for the Acquisition_ of real property or interests
therein for, or the construction maintenance or improvement of
streets or highways other than Sate highways shall be paid into
said fund.
Section 3. All moneys in said fund shall be expended
exclusively for the purposes authorized by, and subject to all of
the provisions of Article 5, Chapter 1, Division I of the Streets
and Highways Code.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be published in the
"Burlingame Advance -Star" in the manner and for the period required
by law, and be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage.
INTRODUCED this 4th day of November, 1935, and duly and
regularly passed this 18=ay cay of November 1935, by the
following vote:
