AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 74
of ORDINANCE No. 178 OF THE CITY
OF BURLI dGAME.

The City Council of the City of Burlingame do
ordain as follows:
Section 1. Section 74 of Ordinance No. 178 of
the City of Burlingame is hereby amended to read as
follows:
Section 74: Theatres. Any person, firm or
corporation owning or conducting a theatre, having a
seating capacity of not more than 1,000 persons shall pay
a license of $100.00 per year, in advance.'
Any person, firm or corporation owning or
conducting a theatre having a seating capacity of from
1,000 to 2,000 persons shall pay a license of $175.00
per year.in advance.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be puolished
in the "Burlingame Xdvance-Star" in the manner and form
required by law and be in full force and effect frwm and
after the date of its passage.
INTRODUCED this 3rd day of August, 1936, and
duly and regularly passea this 17th day of August, 1936, by
the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen: Buck - High - Hives - Hunt - Ward -
NOES, Councilmen: None
