The City Council of the City of Burlingame do
ordain as follows:
Section 1, Sub -section 1 of Section 7 of Ordinance
No. 227 of the City of Burlingame is hereby amended to read
the date of its passage.

as follows:
Subsection 1. No building or structure shall be
erected or altered in said residential district which is not
detached at least three (3) feet from the side line of the
adjoinin1 property, provided that where a building--. or structure
covers a portion of two or more lots shall be treated as one
lot for the purposes of this section and provided further
that the requirements hereof shall not apply to garages or other
necessary buildings situated on the rear half of any lot,
except when the garage or outerhouse or structure is on a
corner lot or parcel of land, which lot or parcel of land

keys an adjoining lot or parcel of land, when the garage or

outhouse or structure shall be so constructed and located at a

distance of fifteen (15) feet from the corner outer side line

of said corner lot or parcel of land, and three (3) feet from

the adjoining key lot or parcel of land.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published in the
Burlingame Advance -Star" in the manner and for the time
required by law, and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage.
