HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 0324ORDINANCE 324 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE #227 OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAIM BY ADDING A NEW SECTION THERETO TO BE KNOV1N AS SECTION 2 A The City Council of the City of Burlingame do ordain as follows: Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance #227 of the City of Burlingame is hereby amended by adding a neva section thereto to be known. as Section 2 A and which will read as follows: Section 2 A. Any land fronting on El Camino Real of the City of Burlingame that may be designated as of a commercial nature and zoned as such,shall be used for profession purposes, hotel apartment or family hotels and light retail, excepting, however, that the following kinds of business shall not be al- lowed: Laundries, dyeing and cleaning works, gasoline stations (unless for enlargement of present stations), markets, butcher shops, restaurants, public amusements, garages, motor vehicle establishments, or refreshment places or stands, or any other types of business of a similar nature, the plans for which shall be approved by the City Council. Where said structure erected on said property is on the corner of the said highway and said street, the main entrance to said building or structure, shall be on said side street and said land fronting on said E1 Camino Real shall maintain a set- back line of sixteen (16) feet from the front property line. Section 2. This Ordinance shall be published in the Burlingame Advance -Star and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
