An Ordinance amending sub -section 25 of Ordinance No. 219
of the City of Burlingame entitled, "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING
TRAFFIC ON TEE PUBLIC STREETS AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
INCONSISTENT HEREWITH", by adding a new section to be known
as Sub -Section 25 A, and repealing Ordinance No. 285 of the
City of Burlingame.
The City Council of the City of Burlingame do Ordain as
follows:
Section 1. Sub -section 25 of Ordinance No. 219 of the
City of Burlingame entitled "An Ordinance Regulating Traffic
on the Public Streets and Repealing all Ordinances Incon-
sistent herewith", is hereby amended by adding a New Section
to be known as Sub -section 25 a, of said Ordinance, and
which shall read as follows:
Sub -section 25a. No person, firm or corporation shall use
for entrance or driveway purposes as an ingress or egress to
or from any land or premises in the commercial district of
the City of Burlingame more than twenty-five per cent (25%)
of the total frontage based on a curb measurement, except in
cases where the frontage in said district abounds along and
is upon two or more connecting streets, then, the entrance
or driveway as an ingress or egress to and from the land
shall not be more than forty per cent (40%) of the total
frontage on two or more streets based on a curb measurement;
provided, however, that nothing herein contained shall AUfect
any property on the E1 Camino Real or the Bayshore Highway
as the same now exist in the City of Burlingame.
Section 2. Ordinance 285, and all other Ordinances or
parts of Ordinances of the City of Burlingame inconsistent
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be published in the
"Burlingame -Advance Star" in the manner and for the period
of time prescribed by law and shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage.
Introduced this 19th day of June, 1939, and duly and
regularly passed this=th day of July 1939.
