AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION 18 dF SECTION 11 OF
3 ORDINANCE NO. 178 OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAMB ENTITLED, "AN
ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR LICENSING AND REGULATING THE CARRYING
4 ON OF CERTAIN PROFESSI CNS,, TRADES , CALLINGS arl) OCCUPATIONS ;
PROVIDING PENALTIES. FOR THE VIOLATION OF `.CHIS ORDINANCE AND
5 ANY PROVISION THEREOF, ANI) REPEALING ALL ORDINAECBS AND PARTS
OF ORlINANCPS IN CONFLICT TEREWITH".

7 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME DO ORDAIN AS.
FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Subsection 12 of Section 11 of Ordinance No.
9 178 of the City of Burlingame is hereby amended to read as
follows:
10 Subsection 12. Nine -pin and bowling alleys.
The proprietor, ma nager or lessee of each nine -pin or ten -
11 pin bowling alley or bq)( alley shall pay a license tax of
Ten (10) Dollars per year for each alley up to and including
12 five or more alleys when in the same building or structure,
additional alleys over five (5) shall be included in such
13 license for five (5) alleys at no additional fee.
14 This Ordinance shall be published in the Burlingame Ad-
vance for the time and in the manner required by law and be
15 in full force and effect from and after the date of its pas-
sage.

INTRODUCED this 6th day of Marco, 1939 and duly and
17 regularly passed and adopted on the 20thday of March
1939, by the following vote:
