RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
LIMEBIKE TO OPERATE A PILOT BICYCLE SHARING PROGRAM IN BURLINGAME
WHEREAS, a goal of the City of Burlingame is to provide safe and affordable multi-
modal transportation options to all residents, reduce traffic congestion, improve local air quality,
and maximize carbon free mobility; and
WHEREAS, bicycle sharing services may help the City achieve its transportation and
greenhouse gas emission reduction goals; and
WHEREAS, Neutron Holdings, Inc. d/b/a LimeBike ("LimeBike") proposes to operate a
six month pilot bike share program within the City; and
WHEREAS, a six month pilot program will allow bicycle sharing to be tested and tried in
the City; and
WHEREAS, LimeBike has promised to abide by all City ordinances and rules governing
the use of public space and the public right-of-way to efficiently, effectively, and safely provide
bike sharing services; and
WHEREAS, LimeBike utilizes a smart bicycle fleet that will be locked, enabled, and
tracked using a LimeBike app.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame
1. The above recitals are true and correct and are hereby incorporated as findings.
2. The City Council approves the License Agreement and Terms for bicycle sharing
services with LimeBike.

foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 4`" day of
December, 2017, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
