NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE AS RECOIZENDED BY THE NATIONAL FIRE
PROTECTION ASSOCIATION AND APPROVED BY ME AMERICAN STANDARDS
ASSOCIATION, AND PROVIDING FOR IT:;� INTERPRETATION:
The City Council of the City of Burlingam3 does ordain as
follows:
Section 1. The 1937 National Electrical Code, embodying
regulations of the National Board of Fire Underwriters for Elec-
tric 'miring and Apparatus, as recommended by the National Fire
Protection Association, and approved September 13, 1937, by Amer-
ican Standards Association, is hereby adopted by reference and
made an ordinance of the City of Burlingame in conformity to the
provisions of Section 1 of Act No. 5692 of Deering's 1937 General
Laws of California; provided, however, that where any conflict
appears between the provisions of said 1937 National Electrical
Code and the provisions of Ordinance No. 300 of the City of
Burlingame occurs or exists, the provisions of said Ordinance
No. 300 shall prevail.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published in the "Burlingame
Advance Star" in the manner and for the time prescribed by law.
Introduced this 23rd day of September, 1940, and duly and
regularly passed this 7th day of October , 19409 by the
following vote:
