AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSI-
FICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY
OF BURLINGAME.
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does
ordain as follows:
Section 1. All of Blocks Nos. 6, 7, 8, 91 12, 13, 14,
15, 16, as per Map of Easton Addition to the City of
Burlingame, filed August 7, 1905, in the office of the
County Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State of
California, in Book D of Maps at page 51 thereof, are
hereby reclassified from First to Second Residential
District, and hereafter shall be subject to all regula-
tions provided for the construction and maintenance of
buildings in Second Residential Districts.
Section 2. All lots on the East side of and fronting
on Anita Road in Blocks. Nos. 22, 23 and 24, of the City
of Burlingame, as per Map thereof filed in the office
of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State
of California, on September 25, 1908, are hereby re-
classified from Residential to Apartment House District,
and hereafter shall be subject to all regulations pro-
vided for the construction and maintenance of buildings
in Apartment House Districts.
Section 3. All lots in Burlingame Gardens, as per Map
thereof filed May 15, 1940, in the office of the County
Recorder of San Mateo County, State of California, in
Book 22 of Yaps at pages 66 and 67, excepting Lots Nos.
1 to 5, inclusive, in Block No. 1 thereof, Lots Nos. 1 to
16, inclusive, in Block No. 2 thereof, and Lots Nos.
1 and 3, in Block No. 3 thereof, are hereby reclassified

from Industrial District to First Residential District,
and hereafter shall be subject to all regulations pro-
vided for the construction and maintenance of buildings
in First Residential Districts.
Section 4. All of Lots A to M, inclusive, and Lot V, in
Block 2 of Burlingame Terrace, as per Map thereof filed
in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San
Mateo, State of California, are hereby reclassified from
First to Second Residential District, and hereafter shall
be subject to all regulations provided for the construction
and maintenance of buildings in Second Residential Districts.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be published in the
Burlingame Advance -Star, as required by law, and be in
effect thirty days after its adoption.
Introduced this 15th day of July, 1940, and adopted
August 5th , 1940, by the following vote:
