AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 406.1 TO
^THE ORDINJ fCE CODE OF THE CITY OF
BURLINGAvE, REQUIRING THE CITY ASSESSOR
TO APPROVE APPLICATIONS FOR BUILDING
PERYI TS .
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain
as follows:
Section One. The Ordinance Code of the City of
Burlingame is hereby amended by adding thereto a new section,.
designated 406.1, which shall read as follows:
"Sec. 406.1 -- Requiring City Assessor to Approve Applications
for Building Permits.
Before any building permit is granted as herein before
provided, the approval of the City Assessor must be obtained as
to the description of the property upon which the building is
to be constructed, and as to its compliance with the zoning laws
of the City."
Section Two, This Ordinance shall be published once
in the Burlingame Advance, a newspaper of general circulation
published in this City, and shall become effective thirty (60)
days from and after its adoption.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Burlingame, held on October 6, 1941, and adopted at
a regular meeting of said Council held on October 20, 1941, by
the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen : Buck - Burrows - Coleman - Hunt
Noes: Councilmen : None
Absent; Councilmen:
