ORDINANCE NO. 377
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT BE-
TVILIEN THE CITY OF BURLINGAME, TOViN OF HILLSBOROUGH,
AND THE CITY OF SAN MATEO FOR THE CREATION OF A
THREE CITIES DISASTER RELIEF AND DEFENSE PLAN,
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain
as follows:
Section One. That an agreement is hereby authorized
between the City of Burlingame, Town of Hillsborough, and City
of San Mateo to create a Three Cities Disaster Relief and Defense
Plan for said three cities. A copy of said agreement is on file
with the City Clerk of the City of Burlingame and is open for
public inspection, and reference is made thereto for further
particulars.
Section Two, The Mayor of the City of Burlingame is
hereby authorized, empowered and directed to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of said City of Burlingame and the City
Clerk is hereby directed to attest his signature and to affix_
thereto the corporate seal of said city.
Section Three. This ordinance shall be published once
in the Burlingame Advance, and shall be effective upon the
expiration of thirty days from and after the date of its adoption
Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Burlingame, held on October S. 1941, and adopted at
a regular meeting of said Council held on October 20, 19410 by
the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen: Buck - Burrows - Coleman - Hunt
Noes: Councilmen ` None
Absent: Councilmerx
