AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1310
OF TPN; ORDI1vASICE CODE OF THE CITY
OF BURLINGA11E APPERTAINING TO DOG
LICENSE.
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does here-
by ordain as follows:
Section One. Sec. 1310 - Dog License _ of the
Ordinance Code of the City of Burlingame is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Sec. 1310. Doe License.
It shall be unlawful for any person to own, harbor or
possess a dog within the City of Burlingame without paying the
annual license tax hereinafter provided.
An annual license tax of $2.00 is hereby imposed upon
every male dog, and an annual license tax of $4.00 is hereby
Imposed upon every female dog, owned, harbored or possessed in
the City of Burlingame.
The receipt for the license shall be a numbered metal
tag of convenient size and appearance, which shall be issued by
the City Treasurer to any person making application for a dog
license, and must be renewed at the end of each fiscal year.
Section Two. This ordinance shall be published once
in the Burlingame Advance ® Star, a newspaper of general circu-
lation published in the City, and shall become effective thirty
(30) days after its adoption.
The foregoing ordinance was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Burlingame held on
the 15thday of September, 1941, and thereafter duly adopted on
the 6th day of October, 1941, by the following vote:
