AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE CODE
OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAMTE BY AMMENDING
SECTION 401 OF SAID CODE BY ADDING THERE-
TO "SUPERINTENDENT OF RECREATION".
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain
as follows:
See. One. Sec. 401 of the Ordinance Code of the City
of Burlingame is hereby amended to read as follows, to -wit:
Sec. 401. IN GENERAL.
There shall be in the City the following officers, in
addition to those specified by the State law; A city engineer; a
police surgeon; a purchasing agent; a tax collector; a superin-
tendent of streets; a building inspector; a fire chief; a
superintendent of recreation; and a poundmaster. The powers and
duties of such officers shall be as prescribed by State law in
this Article, and as may be also prescribed under the provisions
of Article 5 and Division 1 of Article 6 of this Code.
Sec. Two. This Ordinance shall be published once in
the Burlingame Advance - Star, a newspaper of general circulation,
and shall become effective thirty (30) days after its adoption.
Introduced the 21st day of April, 1941, and adopted the
5th day of May, 1941, by the following vote:
