ORDINANCE NO. 364
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING BY REFERENCE A COMPREI3ENSIVE
CODE OF ALL ORDINANCES OF TEE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AS COMPILED, CONSOLIDATED, REVISED, INDEXED AND
ARRANGED AND HERETOFORE PLACED ON FILE IN TRIPLI-
CATE WITH TIM CLERK OF TIE CITY OF BURLINGAME.
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain as follows:
WHEREAS, under and by virtue of Section 652c of an Act of the
Legislature of the State of California entitled "An Act to provide
for the organization, incorporation and government of municipal
corporations" approved March 13, 1883, relating to cities of the
sixth class, as amended by Chapter 1026, Statutes of California.
of 1939, municipalities of the sixth class of the State of
California were authorized and empowered to compile, consolidate,
revise, index and arrange into a comprehensive ordinance code any
or all ol their ordinances, and,
WIC EAS, acting under and in conformity to the authority and
power conferred in said section as amended the City of Burlingame
by resolution heretofore adopted arranged for and has caused all
of the ordinances of said City to be so compiled, consolidated,
revised, indexed and arranged as a comprehensive code thereof,
and that three copies of said comprehensive ordinance code have
been fil d and now are on file with the City Clerk of the City of
Burling e, all in conformity to the provisions of said section,
THE FORE the said comprehensive ordinance code, consisting
Of Parts I, II, III, IV, V. VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI and XII, and
of Articles 1 to 55, inclusive, and of the Table of Contents,
Index and Appendix, and this enacting and adopting ordinance, all
as set forth and contained in the three copies of said code here-
inbefore referred to, shall be and it hereby is adopted as and for
a.compre ensive ordinance code of all the ordinances now in effect
of the City of Burlingame and shall be observed and enforced with-
in said City as and for and in place and stead of all the effective
ordinances of said City.
It is further ordained that this ordinance be published in
the Burlingame Advance -Star in the manner and for the time pre-
scribed by law.
Introduced this 3rd day of jQf,runry,, 1941, and adopted on
the 17thday of February , 1941, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen: BUCK-BURROWS-COLEMAN-HUIQT-MCDONALD.
