The City Council of the City of Burlingame does
ordain as follows:
Section 1 -;Section 1399.4 of the Ordinance Code
of the City of .Durlingame is hereby amended by adding
thereto tie following:
"and any cost or expense involved shall oe borne
by the City and paid out of its General Fund; provided,
that no Taore than :2,500. shall be so expended in any
one year:" and as amended the said Section shall read:
"Section 1399.4: It shall be the duty of the
Superintendent to plant, trim, prune, spray, and care for
all trees, shrubs or plants, and to remove all objectionable
trees, shrubs or plants in or upon any street, avenue, allay,
or other public place in the City of .3urliugame, and any
cost or expense involved shall be borne by the City and paid
out of its General Fund; provided, that no more than Qg2500.
shall be so expended in any one year'".
Section 2 - This Ordinance shall be published once in
the Durlingame Advance, a newspaper of general circulation
published in the City and become effective thirty days after
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a
meeting of the City Council held on April 16, 1945, and
was thereafter adopted at a meeting of the City Council
held on May 7, 1945, by the following vote:
