AN ORDINANCE AIVCNDING ARTICLE 17, BY
ADDING DIVISION NO. 6, REQUIRING OWNERS
OF FISH PONDS TO REGISTER SAME FOR
HEALTH PURPOSES

The City Council of the City of Burlingame does hereby
ordain as follows:
Section 1
Article 17 of the Ordinance Code is hereby amended by adding
a new division to be known as Division No. 6, which shall read
as follows:
DIVISION 6
Section 1338.1 - REGISTRATION OF FISEI PONDS
It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or maintain
or cause to be kept or maintained within the corporate limits of
the City an outdoor fish pond without first registering with the
Chief of Police of the City, the name of the owner or possessor,
and the location of the premises where such fish pond is kept.
It shall be the duty of every person now keeping or
maintaining a fish pond within the City to register as herein
required on or before November 1, 1946; and all persons must
obtain the approval of the Department of Public Health for per-
mission to maintain and use such fish pond.
Section 2
This Ordinance shall be published once according to law and
become effective thirty (30) days after its adopt'on.
