BY ADDING THERETO A NEW SECTION 805, PROVIDING FOR DAYS OF EMPLOY-
MENT OF CITY EMPLOYEES.
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1:
The Ordinance Code of the City of Burlingame is hereby amended
by adding thereto a new Section 805, which shall read as amended as follows:
SECTION 805 - FIXING TIME OF EMPLOYMENT:
All persons employed by the City of Burlingame in full time
positions, except Policemen and Firemen, and all those employed as
Miscellaneous employees in the Administration and Water Department, shall
work and be on a five-day week.
Heads of all departments affected hereby shall be authorized
and are hereby ordered to arrange a schedule of hours for employees under
him to conform herewith.
SECTION 2:
This Ordinance shall be published once as required by law and
become effective thirty days after its adoption.
I, Herbert K. White, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Burlingame, held on
September 6, 1949 and was thereafter on September 19, 1949, duly adopted by
the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN Atwater-Dahl-Hunt-Love-Simond.s
NOES: COUNCILMEN None
