AN ORDINANCE AIMNDING THE, ORDINANCE
CODE OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAMIE BY
TRANSFERRING FROi�4 FINE ZONE 2 TO FIRE
ZONE 3 A PLOT OF GROUND IP,IPalEDIATELY
ADJOINING THE SOUTEERLY SIDE OF THE
FIRE HOUSE AT THE CORNER OF CALIFORNIA
DRIVE AND PALBI DRIVE
The City Council of the City of Burlingame do ordain:
Section 1. - The Ordinance, Code of the City of Burlingame
is hereby amended by transferring from Fire Zone 2 to Fire Zone
3 the following described parcel of land adjacent to the Fire
House at California Drive and Palm Drive in the City of
Burlingame commonly described as follows:
"BEGINNIEG at the point of intersection of the North-
westerly boundary of the De Coulon 8 acre tract, as
conveyed by the Executrices of the Estate of Pulliam
Corbitt, deceased to Eugene De Coulon by Deed dated
November 22, 1902 and recorded December 22, 1902 in
Book 98 of Deeds at page 416, with the Southwesterly
line of California Drive as said Drive is described
in those certain Deeds to the City of Burlingame,
dated June 1, 1922 and recorded luarch 3, 1923 in Book
66 of Official Records at page 341 and in Book 66 of
Official Records at page 343; thence from said point
of beginning along said line of California Drive,oS.
620 301 E. 100 feet; thence at right angles S. 27 301
W. 116.70 feet to the Northeasterly boundary of that
certain subdivision shown on map entitled "Yap of
Willborough Place, Located in the City of Burlingame,
California," filed in the office of the County Re-
corder of San Mateo County May 19, 1931 in Book 19
of Naps at pages 56 and 57, San Mateo County Records;
thence along said line of 6°Jillborough Place and parallel
with said line of California Drive, N. 620 301 W.
144.80 feet to the Southeasterly boundary of that
certain subdivision shown on map entitled "Yap No. 2
of Burlingame Terrace," filed in the office of the
County Recorder of San Iateo County January 3, 1911
in Book 7 of haps a t page 3p; thence along s aid line
of Burlingame Terrace N. 48 301 E. 125 feet to the
point of beginning.'.'.
Section 2. - This Ordinance shall be published once as re-
quired by law and become effective thirty days after its
adoption.
I, Herbert K. White, City Clerk, do hereby certify
that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular
meeting of the Burlingame City Council held on Febria ry 21,
1949, and adopted by the following vote on March 7, 1949.
