AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1469 OF
THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF
BURLINGAME, PROVIDING FOR THE DESTRUC-
TION OF ALL BICYCLE RECORDS KEPT FOR
MO RE TSN THREE YEARS
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does hereby ordain:
Section 1 - Section 1469 of the Ordinance Code of the City
of Burlingame is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
"All records maintained as herein provided shall become
obsolete and shall be destroyed three(3) years after the date
of issuance thereof," so that as amended said Section 1469
shall read as follows:
SECTION 1469 - LICENSE PLATES AND Pd'GISTRATION CARDS,
AND THE DESTRUCTION THEREOF.
The City shall provide metallic license plates and seals,
with registration cards and isinglass holders therefor; said
plates and registration cards shall have corresponding numbers
stamped thereon in numerical order, beginning with No. 1; also
the name of the City. It shall be the duty of the Police
Department to attach one such metallic plate to the frame of
each bicycle so licensed and toissue a registration card
correspondingly numbered to the licensee upon proof of pay-
ment to the Cityls license collector of the fee hereinafter
specified. Such metallic plate shall remain attached to such
bicycle during the existence of such license. The Police
Department shall keep a record of the date and number of every
such license and the name of the person to whom issued, all
records maintained as herein provided shall become obsolete
and shall be destroyed three(5) years after the date of
issuance thereof. 0J�

do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 18th day
of September, 1950 and adopted on the 2nd day of October, 1950,
by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Byrd -Hunt -Love -Simonds
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
