AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 825 OF THE ORDINANCE
CODE OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME AND ADOPTING A NEW
SECTION 825 OF SAID ORDINANCE CODE, FIXING AND
ESTABLISHING THE CLASSIFICATION OF POSITIONS AND
EMPLOTTAENT AND THE COMPENSATION AND SALARIES THEREFOR.
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain as
follows:
Section 1 Section 825 of the Ordinance Code of the City of
(Burlingame, as established August 25, 1950, by Ordinance No. 492,
is hereby repealed.
Section 2 There is hereby established a new Section 825 of the
Ordinance Code of the City of Burlingame fixing and establishing
the salaries, compensation and rate of pay for employees oof the
City regularly occupying civil service positions allocated"to
them as of July 1, 1951, according to stipulated schedule; and
for all employees entering the service at the entrance rate fixed
in the schedule hereinafter set forth for the classification for
which such employee is appointed.
Section 3 The compensation schedule for classification therein
set forth is as follows:

Section 4 The Matron -Stenographer shall be compensated for any
call to duty outside of regular hours at the following rate:
For the first hour, two dollars and fifty cents, and one dollar
and fifty cents for each succeeding hour or major portion thereof.
The Deputy City Clerk shall be compensated at the rate of five
dollars for each Council meeting.
The Motorcycle Patrolman shall be compensated at the rate of
fifteen dollars for extra duty as patrolman operating a motor-
cycle.
A maintenance man, while working as a helper to the City
Electrician, shall receive ten dollars per month additional.
Section 5 The rate of pay set forth in the foregoing schedules
represents the standard monthly rate of compensation in terms of
dollars per month based upon full time employment.
Section 6 This Ordinance shall be published once as required by
law and becomes effective July 1, 1951.
