ORDINANCE NO. 523
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE
CITY OF BURLINCAME BY AMENDING SECTION 928 AS
AMENDED AUGUST 21, 19502 FIXING THE DUE DATE OF
THE PAYMENT OF TAXES AS OF DECEIv1BEP. 10TH
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain as
Section 1 - Section 928 - The due date of payment of taxes,
set forth in said section adopted August 21, 1950, is hereby
to read as follows:
1. That half the taxes on real and personal property
the secured roll are due November first and will be delinquent
ecember tenth next at five p.m., and unless paid prior thereto
ight (80) percent will be added to the amount thereof and that
f the first half be not paid before the twentieth day of
pril next at five p, m. an additional three (3%) percent will
e added thereto. That the remaining one-half of the taxes on
eal and personal property will be payable on or after January
next thereafter and will be delinquent on the
entieth day of April next at five p, m., and that unless paid
for thereto three (30) percent will be added to the amount
ereof: provided, that if December tenth or April twentieth
on a Saturday the time of delinquency is five p. m. on the
business day.
Section 2 - This Ordinance shall be published once as

the foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the -r6 day of May, 1952, and adopted
