AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE CODE OF
THE CITY OF BURLINGAME BY REPEALING SECTION
930 THEREOF AND ORDAINING A NEW SECTION 930
PROVIDING FOR DELINQUENT PENALTIES UPON UN-
PAID PROPERTY TAXES.
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain
as follows:
SECTION I - Section 930 of the Ordinance Code of the
City of Burlingame is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2 - The Ordinance Code of tie City of Burlingame
is hereby amended by adding a new Section 930 which shall provide
and read as follows:
SECTION 930 - DELINQUENT PENALTIES
On the 10th day of December of each year at 5:00 o'clock
p.m. all taxes than unpaid, except the last installment of the
real property taxes, are delinquent, and thereafter the tax col-
lector must collect for the use of the City an additional 8 per-
cent thereon, provided that if they be not paid before the 10th
day of April next thereafter at 5:00 o'clock p.m., he shall
collect an additional 3 percent thereon.
%On the 10th day of April of each year at 5:00 o'clock
p.m., all the unpaid portion of the remaining one-half of the
taxes on all real property are delinquent, and thereafter the
tax collector must collect an addition of 3 percent thereon,
provided that the entire tax on any real property may be paid
at the time the first installment is due and payable as above
provided.
The aggregate amount of said taxes, penalties and
costs shall bear interest at the rate of 1 percent per month
from a -rid after the 30th day of June of each year until paid.
SECTION 3 - This Ordinance shall be published as
required by law.

foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 1st day of November and adopted at a
regular meeting November 15, 1954, by the following vote:
