AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1725.1 OF THE
ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME BY
PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN THE RATE OF
SEWER RENTAL CHARGES FOR DISCHARGE OF SEWAGE
INTO OR THROUGH THE SEWER SYSTEM OF THE CITY
OF BURLINGAT42
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain
follows:
Section 1725.1 of the Ordinance Code of the City of
lingame is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the word,
igures and signs "two ($.02)" and by substituting for the word,
figures and signs so deleted the word, figures and signs "five
($.05)", so that as amended Section 1725.1 shall read as follows:
"1725.1. SEWAGE SERVICE CHARGES.
Every person whose premises in the City are served by a
:onnection with the system of sewerage of the City whereby the
ewage or industrial wastes, or either or both, are disposed of by
City, either through the facilities of the sewage treatment
sewage disposal works of the City, or otherwise, shall pay a
ewer rental charge based upon the quantity of metered water used
or upon such premises of five 0.05) cents per thousand gallons
water so measured, whether such water is derived from a source
than the City water supply or all or any part of such water
furnished to said premises without charges provided, however,
t a minimum monthly rate of ten ($10.00) dollars shall be charge
collected from all premises having a connection with the sewer -
system of the City and not using City water.

the foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 20th day of September, 1954, and adopted
thereafter at a regular meeting held on the 4th day of October,
1954s by the following vote:
