OF SECTION 1926, ARTICLE 50, PART X, OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME REGULATING LOT LIMITATIONS AND LOT REQUIREMENTS FOR R-1 DISTRICTS (FIRST RESIDENTIAL) AND ENACTING A NEW SUBSECTION D., SECTION 19262 ARTICLE 502 PART X, OF SAID ORDINANCE CODE REGULATING LOT LIMITATIONS AND LOT REQUIREMENTS. The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain as follows: SECTION 1, Subsection D., Section 1926, Article 50, Part X. of the Ordinance Code of the City of Burlingame is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. A new Subsection D., Section 1926, Article 50, Part X. of the Ordinance Code of the City of Burlingame is hereby enacted which new subsection shall read and provide as follows: "1. All lots shall have an average width of not less than 50 feet. Except in those portions of the City defined and limited in the following paragraph, lots shall have an area of not less than 5,000 square feet. 2. All lots in the areas shown on the map hereto attached, which areas are cross -hatched, shall have an area of not less than 7,000 square feet. Said map is hereby incorporated in and made a part of this Ordinance. 3. The average width and minimum areas provided for in 1. and 2. above shall not apply to any parcel of land of smaller dimensions appearing of record in the Offices of the County Recorder, County of San Mateo, or the City Engineer of the City of Burlingame, prior to January 1, 1956. No building permit shall be issued after said date for the construction of any building on a lot appearing on any map of record in the Office of the County Recorder or any map on file in the Office of the City Engineer of the City of Burlingame which does not comply with the minimum requirements provided for above. 4. All lots shall have a frontage on a public street." - 1 - SECTION 3, This Ordinance shall be published as re- quired by law* L. B. MORGAN I, HERBERT K. WHITE, City Clerk, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on November 7, 1955, and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on November 21, 1955 by the following, vote: AYES: COUNCILMEN: Byrd -Johnson -Morgan -Rooth -Thayer NOES: COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None HERBERT K.
