AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1926s ARTICLE 500 PART X,
OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME DIVID-
ING THE CITY INTO DISTRICTS AND REGULATING THE USE OF
SAID DISTRICTS BY AUTHORIZING THE ERECTION OF GARAGES
ON THE FRONT PORTIONS OF LOTS IN CERTAIN AREAS AND
UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
The City Council of the City of Burlingame does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 1926, Article 50, Part X of the
Ordinance Code of the City of Burlingame is hereby amended by
adding to subsection C of said Section 1926 a new paragraph
numbered 4 which shall read and provide as follows:
114. Where a dwelling has been erected on the
rear 60% of the lot prior to January 152 1954, a
garage may be erected in front of the main build-
ing but not in any portion of the front setback."
SECTION 2, This Ordinance shall be published as
required by law.

Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
3rd day of October, 1955, and adopted thereafter at a regular
meeting held on the 17th day of October , 1955, by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Byrd -Johnson -Morgan -Rooth -Thayer
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None
